Hello peeps,

Today in class we have been working on shops i´m the CEO of our group .We are making  scrunchies and bracelets so don´t forget to stop by and get something. It takes a lot of work being the CEO because you have to  do most of the work but you get to decide what product you wanna make but your in charge of make the product so its kind of fun but we had to take out a loan from Mr Scott  and we get to put up a stool. Our group is call BRUNCHIES  the mix between bracelets and scrunchies .so now you know somethings about business and enterprise that you may not have known  .

 On Tuesday  we made macaroni and cheese it was really good but we added to much salt to our sauce instead of our water to boil the pasta so we learned not to do that we used a pan a pot,cheese, macaroni elbows and onion,butter,salt,tomatoes,and bread crumbs it tasted really goood but kinda bad at the same time.

 for drama we have been learning about melodrama and we are working on a play 

• Remember in Victorian Melodrama, all emotion is externalised. There is no such thing as inner psychological depth! 

Generally this means “Over the Top” in every way. Here are some techniques which help create this affect. 

• Slower, clearer delivery of lines with huge projection. Remember Victorian Theatres were huge and there were no microphones. 

• Play everything to the audience, even if you are supposed to be talking to another character on stage! Indicate whom you are talking to by looking sideways at them and holding your hand out towards. 

• Address the audience directly whenever the script will allow you to do so. 

• • 

• The Pose: Invent poses of shock, horror, love, evil, intent, cruelty, desire, dilemma, forgiveness, begging forgiveness etc. A pose should last at least three seconds and should be clearly visible from fifty metres. 

• The working yourself up to the pose: lasts two to three seconds --let's see you getting there! 

• • 

• The Gasp - very loud expressing a range of emotions. Often accompanied by a pose. 

• The Swoon - often preceded by lines such as "Alas! I can hardly bear it." The swoon should be graceful and provision should be made for someone to catch you._ 

• The long walk downstage/upstage/across stage when hatching a plan or in a dilemma. 

• The Pacing- to and fro across the stage when hatching a plan or in a dilemma. Move before you speak so that the audience can track who is speaking. 

• The Tableau (freeze frame)- the still picture made up of a number of characters to freeze the moment, eg: The Happy Ending/ The Secret Lovers. The tableaux should be very explicit. 

• The Sigh/The Groan/The Tubercular Cough 

• First Entrances are important - may even bow, this is related to the cult of “The Actor” – the Star system.

 melodrama is a type of drama that envovle villains and is very very dramatic its from the old time we are working on a play that shows someone keeps the money from there mums house that was sold and they die in a cafe and henry gets to keep all the money so this some information about melodrama

what was life like in the middles ages? interestingly there was some poor and rich like the queen and king. Life was different for everyone and the poor and rich had it different. Poor people lived on farms and rich people lived in castle  the rich had lots of food and poor had none  the poor got things throwen at them and the rich live a great life and its important because not everyone is not treated equaly

                                drama                                      we did a little play on a script and our group went first and we learnt what a green room is it is a room that actors can relate off stage and it all green and arch thearte and it is a stage and chairs that curve kinda and it has front curtins. melodrama was once one of the most  popular forms of theatrical  entertainment and reached the peak of its popularity  in the mid to late nineteen century .

                                       today we did a experiment and we put cold water  and hot water in a separt container and and we put a purple powder and it went purple

our group made  vanilla cupcakes with lemon icing  we hape pacific jobs to do mine was helping and grabbing ingredients  they tasted so gooooooooooood   my mum was the stakeholder she said they tasted amazing

we did research in music about pop music and we found out they are more moden  we chose it because my group and i love to listen to pop music its good to dance to we found out that a lot of them had played a instrument we there where little and thats how the are where they are now.

yesterday  we were making a little show in groups the groups only got one prop person and we had to make a play about something use all the props we collected our play was about and creepy hospital  and i was a receptionist and it took not longer than 5-10 minutes and there where they groups we learned to use stage properties

today my group did a  experiment to see how much sugar is in the coke it took a hour to it turned in to a type of syrup it started bubbling all the conedsion went it to the test tube here  here are some more photos

on friday we made pikelets and we had to whisk the egg and sugar for maybe 10 minutes and then we put the dry ingredients then we took turns cooking the pikelets and we were late and we finish first

today we made a little play on tiktok dance and my group went first our group was doing one were we are doing someone put muffins in the freezer and we had one of the kids from our group was Gordan Ramsey

On Monday i was doing an experiment to make the water with potassium permanganate lighter i was dilutioning the water.

Aim : Was to start with a darker color to  make it lighter. 

Method: Place 6 test tubes in to a test tube rack. then in our first test tube we put 10ml in the rest of the test tubes were 5ml.  In the first tube we got tweezers then added a single crystal of potassium permanganate. we mixed it  we took out 5ml we repeated this step till we filled all the test tubes.

so the jets are acting like they are the boss  and they were mean to one of the sharks and the sharks go and gets his friends and starts dancing then the sharks and the jets start fighting and the sharks and the jets were still fighting and the sharks pour yellow paint and thats how they painted there logo and pours yellow paint all over the jets and then start hitting and then the police come and thats we the video finishs
